Will the Olinia electric car go on sale to the public before September 30, 2027?

Market context

The Olinia, the first 100% Mexican electric car and Sheinbaum's flagship project, already has a prototype and a price (~150,000 pesos), but the sale to the public does not arrive until “the summer of 2027"... and it has already accumulated delays. Resolution criteria

• How it resolvesResolve Yes if, on or before September 30, 2027, TWO conditions are met: (a) Presidency, Secihti or the Olinia project officially announce the START of sales to the general public (no pre-sales, no deliveries to government fleets) and (b) there is documented evidence of the delivery of at least one unit to a general public purchaser. Condition (a) is confirmed by an official statement (gob.mx/olinia.auto); for condition (b), in the absence of official certification, verifiable press coverage of the first delivery is accepted (deliberate exception, since there is no governing body that certifies a sale). Prototypes, presentations, pre-sales without delivery and exclusive deliveries to government agencies or fleets DO NOT count and resolve No.
