Will Mexico exceed 500 MW of operational data center capacity before December 31, 2026?

Market context

As of Q3 2026 Mexico has 279 MW of operational data center capacity, 205 MW under construction and 1,730 MW announced (MEXDC). Projects from CloudHQ, KIO and AWS are advancing. This asks whether operational capacity, not projected, will exceed 500 MW before the end of 2026, almost double the current level.

Resolution criteria

• How it resolvesResolves YES if MEXDC publishes, no later than December 31, 2026, data confirming that Mexico exceeds 500 MW of operational data-center capacity (in service, not under construction or announced). If MEXDC does not publish it, DataCenter Dynamics for Mexico is used with the same criterion.
