• How it resolvesResolves Yes if Claudia Sheinbaum and Xi Jinping meet in person between the opening of this market for trading (the date and time its status changes to open on Pálpito) and November 21, 2026 at 23:59 China time (15:59:00 UTC on November 21, 2026). It counts if the Presidency of Mexico or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China publishes a note on a bilateral meeting between the two leaders, with only their delegations, even if it is short or on the sidelines of the APEC summit. One of the two sources is enough. The following do not count, even if a source calls them an encounter: a greeting or a short conversation during a dinner, a photo, a plenary session or a multilateral event; and phone or video calls. If the APEC 2026 Economic Leaders' Meeting is cancelled or postponed, or if Claudia Sheinbaum does not travel to China, the market resolves the same way according to this deadline: Yes only if the meeting happens on or before November 21, 2026.
