USD/MXN · The dollar (FIX): where does it close on Friday, October 30, 2026?

Market context

The dollar is the daily pulse of Mexican wallets. The FIX is around $18.67 after several weeks of pressure. Where does it close on Friday, October 30? Each level resolves on its own and only the FIX of that day counts: crossing above earlier and then falling back does not count.

Resolution criteria

• How it resolvesResolves "Yes" if the FIX exchange rate that Banxico publishes on Friday, October 30, 2026 (around 12:00 Mexico City time) is strictly above $18.50 pesos per dollar. Resolves "No" if it is less than or exactly equal to $18.50 (it must be exceeded). Reference price: the FIX exchange rate (series SIE SF43718, "Tipo de cambio pesos por dólar E.U.A. — FIX"), the single official number per business day that Banxico sets from wholesale foreign-exchange market quotes. The FIX set on Friday, October 30 is confirmed in the Diario Oficial de la Federación the next business day (Tuesday, November 3, 2026, because Monday the 2nd is a bank holiday), under the DOLAR indicator, where it is verified. Only that value counts: not the intraday, retail-window or aggregator price. If Banxico does not publish a FIX that day, the FIX of the last prior business day is used. The levels in this group are independent: they can all resolve Yes, all No, or any combination.
