How it resolvesResolves Yes if Sergio Pérez (Cadillac) finishes the race of the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix of Formula 1, held on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez: he must take the start, from the grid or from the pit lane, and cross the finish line under the chequered flag. Finishing one or more laps down or with a time penalty counts as finishing. Resolves No if he does not take the start (including a failure on the formation lap that keeps him from starting), if he retires at any point of the race even if the FIA classifies him for completing 90% of the distance, if he does not take part or if he is disqualified. If the race is stopped with a red flag and not resumed, it resolves Yes if he was still running at that moment and No if he had already retired. The race Final Classification published by the FIA counts; later changes do not change the resolution. The sprint, qualifying and practice sessions do not count. If the race is postponed, the market resolves on the postponed race, provided it is held on or before November 8, 2026. Resolves No if the race is not held within that deadline. Corrections published after the resolution do not change it. Only what happens after this market opens counts: if the event had already occurred before this market opened, it resolves No. Primary source: official FIA Final Classification (formula1.com).
