Will there be a Safety Car at the Brazilian GP?

Market context

Interlagos rarely ends without a Safety Car: rain, first corner crashes and a wall very close to the track. Only the real Safety Car counts, not the virtual one. Will it come out this Sunday?

Resolution criteria

• How it resolvesResolves Yes if the Safety Car goes on track at any point in the race of the 2026 Formula 1 São Paulo Grand Prix, held on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos), Brazil, from the start of the formation lap to the chequered flag, including when the race starts behind the Safety Car or restarts behind it after a red flag. The Virtual Safety Car does not count. A red flag counts only if the Safety Car goes on track before, during or after it. It resolves No if the race ends without the Safety Car going on track. The sprint, qualifying and practice sessions do not count. If the race is postponed, it resolves on the postponed race provided it is held on or before November 15, 2026. It resolves No if the race is not held by that date. Corrections published after the resolution do not change it. Only what happens after this market opens counts.
