Market context

Sudden-death format with no safety net: there is no extra time in the Leagues Cup quarterfinals, so any draw after 90' goes straight to penalties. With four tight ties —two of them near coin flips— the spot-kick lottery looms in any of them. Will we see at least one shootout in this round? This market covers all four quarterfinals (August 25 and 26) and closes at the kickoff of the first match. Will there be penalties?

Resolution criteria

• How it resolvesResolves «Yes» if at least one of the four quarterfinal matches of the 2026 Leagues Cup is decided by a penalty shootout; resolves «No» if all four are decided in regulation time (90' plus stoppage). There is no extra time in this round: a draw at the end of regulation goes straight to a penalty shootout. A single match reaching penalties is enough to resolve «Yes». The resolution is confirmed by the official Leagues Cup results of the four quarterfinals (August 25 and 26, 2026). In case of suspension, postponement, annulment or a walkover that prevents determining the result, the resolution will follow the official Leagues Cup decision. If the results of the four matches cannot be confirmed and the «Yes» condition is not yet met by August 31, 2026, the market is cancelled.
